“It is said that ‘Peace begins with me’. As a yoga therapist and teacher, my goal is that each individual finds the contentment that resides within.  By working from the inside out, participants begin to feel their body, mind and emotional wellness improve their outside world.  This produces a butterfly effect that can create lasting global change.”

Hi, I’m Brenna!

I am a yoga therapist and teacher from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have always been an active person, from my early tee-ball days to playing every sport imaginable growing up. I first became acquainted with yoga in 2010 while working as a personal trainer. I loved how good my body felt while practicing, but what surprised me was how relaxed my mind felt. I started teaching group yoga classes in 2017 while also being a stay at home mom.

As a life-long learner, I am always looking to grow personally and professionally. I received my Masters in Liberal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2005, my 200 hour R-YT in 2021, and my 300 hour R-YT in 2023. In 2025, I became an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, graduating with 1050 hours of therapeutic training.

Currently, I teach 10 yoga classes a week, including yin, gentle and chair classes. I am also contracted through Integration Healing with the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Department. Here I work one-on-one with clients practicing yoga in a mental health capacity. I love working with individuals and helping them build the tools to accomplish their well-being goals.

Off the mat, I like to fill my life with creativity and motion.  Whether I am exploring the city with my family, working on my golf game, or crocheting items for others, I find that my peace always lies in the basics: Moving the Body, Connecting the Breath, and Focusing the Mind.
