Small Group Yoga Therapy (2 to 3 people)

$150 per session

1 hour session

Yoga Therapy is appropriate in a small group setting when the participants have similar goals related to their physical, intellectual, emotional or spiritual health. This might include, but aren’t limited to, back pain or other physical ailments, memory care or increasing cognitive strength, stress reduction techniques or managing emotions, and finding connection to a higher purpose. Here is what participants can expect when setting up their group yoga therapy sessions.

Yoga Therapy Sessions - Each session usually begins with a short “check-in” between the clients and yoga therapist. Here each participant has the opportunity to review their goals and evaluate what tools, from the previous session, had worked for them.

The yoga therapist will then outline the plan for the session. Sometimes these sessions will include active movements together, sometimes going over specific types of breath work, and sometimes a more meditative practice is the plan. As in any yoga therapy setting, there are modifications and variations to the practices so that the individual can find what works best for them.

The session will end with a follow-up of what we covered and a short discussion of how to use some of these tools outside of yoga therapy.

Sessions are conducted virtually over Zoom. In person sessions upon request.
